They also utilise only Stainless Steel Security Screen non removable pin hinges(3) to maximise protection a the mounting points.

Prowler Proof Sliding security screen doors are supplied with industry topping Lockwood 8653 Sliding security screen triple locking points. Again backed by a 25 year manufactures warranty. In addition to this all sliding security screen doors installed by us come as standard with Ultra Heavy Duty concealed fix interlocks. Concealed Fix interlocks enclose unsightly security fixing screws resulting in a clean “Factory Finish” whilst also more importantly protect the screws from tampering/removal in the event of an attempt at Forced Entry.

All Prowler Proof security screens are built to far exceed the strength required by official Australian Standards Security Screens class.

Prowler Proof Guardian fall prevention screens are design to protect against falls from windows at height. Windows that are situated higher than 2.0m from the outside ground level are required by Australian Law to have a restricted opening device allowing the window to open to a maximum of 120mm. Alternatively, to enable full opening of the window, an approved fall prevention screen must be installed. A security screen complies with this, however Guardian is also fully compliant with these regulations and is often more economical for the budget.

With H.I.T interlocks and receivers, your sliding security doors’ component screws are either innaccessible from the outside, aka the secure side, or they are installed into a recessed channel which makes it impossible for the screw to be forcibly removed with tools such as pliers as they cannot grip the screw head.
This combined with the addtional tongue length and thickness results in an interlock that is up to Six times stronger than a standard interlock..
These Channels are then concealed using a specially designed cover plate which provides an elite level of aesthetic appeal to your new security screens.
